Bottle gourd is well known for its high fibre & water content,which in turn aids with weight loss & prevents constipation as well.It also promotes digestion ,supports heart & liver health.Bottlegourd is also called Lauki in northern parts of India and is widely used in every day cooking.The bottlegourd dosa is a yummy concoution with Rava & spices.Its a healthy as well as tasty one.

Ingredients ;-
Grated bottle gourd 1 cup
Brown rava 1 cup
Red chilly 3
Cumin ½ tsp
Curry leaves a few
Salt to taste
Hing a pinch
Method ;-
Soak the rava with bottle gourd & its water for 2 hours.
Grind with other ingredients to a fine taste.
Make dosa right away ,no need to ferment.
Serve hot with coconut / tomato /onion chutney.
Note ;-
Instead of Rava ,sooji /iddli rice /any millet can be used.
