Fish Pie

A healthy ,tasty fish pie !!!

A drooling pie which makes one go crazy .

The potatoes with the fish makes a deadly combination. The sprinkling of cheese and bread crumbs makes the pie rich .As it is baked with potato ,cheese and bread crumbs,it forms a crispy layer and melts into the mouth with the fish.

Cooking Time : 50 min


Ingredients :

Tuna can 2

Onion 1 ( chopped )

Garlic 5-6 pearls ( chopped )

Green chilly 1( chopped )

Potatoes 5-6 ( boiled )

Milk 2-3 tbsp

Cheese 2-3 tbsp ( grated )

Bread crumbs 2 tbsp

Butter 1 tbsp

Milk 2-3 tbsp

Oil 1 tsp


Method :

Mash the potatoes well.

Add salt , butter and milk and make a creamy paste ,set aside.

Open the fish cans and drain the liquid.

If need be shred the fish.

In a pan heat oil add garlic ,onions and green chilly ,fry well .

Add the fish and toss well ,till the fish is well heated.

Grind in pepper and give a quick mix.

Transfer to a pie dish , press well.

Coat the potato paste evenly on top of the fish.

Sprinkle cheese and bread crumbs generously.

Bake in a pre - heated oven till the surface is slightly brown.

Serve hot with ketchup ,bread .


Note :

To the fish add spices to your taste if preferred.
